Jen, Ken and the Boys—Christmas Card shoot

Jen and I went to high school together. I haven’t seen her since Tracey Rivell’s Wedding. She reached out to ask if I could do holiday photos for her family. Jack and Matt (the Boys) were super excited to participate! I was able to get a few family photos and some great action shots of the boys once they warmed up to me. It helped that we all had a common love: NINJA TURTLES! Matt likes Donatello and Jack likes Michelangelo (my personal fav as well). Once we got down to the really important topics of our day: Monster Trucks and Ninja Turtles, they were more than ready for photos. I’m super impressed by how they came out!

Welcome to Earth: Charlie Kirk Broder

Last weekend I took a trip above the city limits to get in some quality time with my brand new cousin, Charlie Kirk. Only two weeks old, this is officially the youngest human I have ever shot! Victoria made a sign for him. The little dude even indulged me for a first tummy time! I didn’t even know tummy time was a thing! You learn something new everyday. He was pretty awake for the first half of the shoot. After Tim and Laura (brand new parents) swaddled him he passed right out.  It’s funny how much personality someone can have being so new to the world, Charlie Kirk lived upto his middle name by boldly exploring the couch we had him set up on! I can’t wait to have Tim and Laura invite us over to teach him games. How old do you need to be for Candyland?
